I used Two gates for my two Pharaoh hounds for the first time and Graham and Julia were exceptional, my two dogs came home so happy and relaxed. It is so nice to know when you leave your special pets they are safe and well looked after and that is the excellent service Two Gates Offer. I can’t thank them enough.

Rhamla and Xini are looking forward to their next stay.

We have used Two Gates for years

“We have been using Two Gates for quite a few years now, and when we had 1 dog who was diabetic on insulin Graham or 1 of the staff would give him his insulin where other kennels would not. It was like home from home for our 2 dogs, who didn’t really want to come home when we collected them. I’m sad to say then our Billy who was diabetic and blind passed away earlier this year, so our other dog Frankie will be spending his holiday alone this year, but I know he will be well looked after and spoilt. If you’re looking for a caring kennel for your dogs look no further.”

Excellent, Professional, Genuine!!!

“We recently used Two Gates Boarding Kennels for our 8 month old Puppy. It’s the 1st time we have been away from her (1 week) and the first review I have ever written. When a business gets it right, it’s only fair they get the credit that is so well deserved! The whole experience from making a reservation, to viewing the kennels and boarding our puppy was second to none! Run by absolute professionals who clearly are genuine loving people. Our puppy was extremely happy when we collected her and it was clear to see how very well she was cared for. She was immaculate and still smelling fresh even after having been boarded for a week. The grounds are beautiful and if you are looking to board a member of your family (as our dogs are), this is definitely the go-to place. Thanks again Two Gates….we’ve found a place where we can enjoy our holidays knowing that our puppy is having one big holiday herself! X”

Professionally run kennels whose hardwork and passion is shown in the running of the family business

“My little Yorkie, Mia, has stayed at Two Gates Kennels 3 times now. At Easter, on arrival she wagged her tail and seemed really happy to be there again. This made it so much easier for me to leave her. For me this confirmed the fact that she is well looked after.

Graham who runs this family business is easily approachable, a very polite man, with a kindly manner. Here they keep less dogs than some kennels, which i think is nice, as they have more time for the ones they keep. They exercise the dogs several times a day and the individual kennels, which are a nice size, clean and warm, lead directly into the field. I will be bringing Mia here regularly and I would not hesitate to recommend Two Gates kennels x”

I highly recommend Two Gates in Higham

“I am not one for writing reviews usually, but my mum and I were so impressed by Two Gates that I felt I just needed to say thank you to them and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. My mum’s dog is a very nervous little dog, but settled in straight away and when I picked her up after our holiday her eyes and coat were beautifully clean. They gave her fresh chicken (which we had mentioned she liked-she is fussy with her food) and I honestly felt they did ‘more than their jobs worth’. Friendly, caring, kind staff….Thank you again Two Gates.”

“We have kennelled our dog at Two Gates for years now and would never go anywhere else. They regularly go above and beyond expectation. We fit our dates in around Two Gates availability (we think that it’s a testament to how happy their clients are with the service, that you have to book well in advance for stays during peak periods). We tried other kennels and dog-sitters some years ago, before we found this one, but they are nowhere near the standard at Two Gates. 100% recommend.”

“Highly recommended! We took our dog here for a trial stay. It was the first time Amber had stayed overnight so I was quite nervous for her but I needn’t have worried. She was very happy when we picked her up the next morning. The drop off and pick up takes place in a small outbuilding away from the main kennels which is a fantastic idea, keeping it nice and calm for dog and owners. We met Graham when we looked round and again when we dropped our dog off, who is really nice and seems to have quite a calming nature. The kennels are also very clean! We’ll definitely use Two Gates again in the future.”

“I have been using Two Gates Kennels for nearly twelve years and my dog loves his stays there. He jumps in excitement at the gate, so looking forward to seeing Graham and his staff, and trots off to the kennels without a backwards glance. I often drive past Two Gates and have never heard a dog bark, they are all so at ease in the kennels. The Malamute owner misunderstood. The local licensing authority changed the kennel size requirement for larger dogs and the new ones opened in January 2019. I have seen the new kennels and they provide magnificent 5 Star accommodation. if you have a dog, large or small, I thoroughly recommend Two Gates. I change my arrangements if Two Gates are full. If they can’t take my dog, I don’t go away.”

For me it was when I arrived to collect them and they hadn’t lost their bark! which indicates it was nice and peaceful, when you are told they have just been brushed and they liked being sprayed and when the bedding comes home cleaner than when it went in. Our two little dogs have never stayed in kennels before and we were a bit worried about leaving them so we thought we would try them out at Two Gates.
We have just picked them up this morning after their two day holiday and we needn’t have worried at all.
They came back so happy and clean and we could see they had been well looked after.
Graham and his wife did a great job and you can tell this isn’t just a business to them they really do care about the animals.
We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and recommend them to any one.

They have beautiful spacious kennels including ‘family’ rooms where all my dogs can still be together. They feed my pups the food I provide for them (raw food) to the schedule that I keep at home. But enough about that my dogs love it there. They love the staff and run to them for cuddles the second I open the car door. That is the most important thing. I know if my dog could write a review they would give it a 6 out of 5.

“We have two very hyper lurcher dogs who have been looked after by Two Gates Kennels for almost 10 years.
